A more useful response
What should a timber cladding quote request include?
Start with the site postcode, approximate area and the type of building. Elevation drawings are ideal, but photographs, sketches and rough dimensions can still establish a practical first conversation.
If you have preferences, include the timber species, grade, profile, vertical or horizontal orientation, intended finish and target programme. For larger or commercial work, identify any sample, sourcing, treatment, coating or project-documentation requirements.
Where those decisions remain open, explain the appearance, maintenance expectations and budget priorities instead. The aim is to compare suitable options around one clear brief—not force a specification before the project is ready.
